February 2, 2009 - St. Louis, Missouri
Announcers: Michael Cole & Jerry “The King” Lawler

..................................................................................

ECW DARK MATCH: Mark Henry defeated D.J. Gabriel..

..................................................................................

IN THE RING
Shane McMahon + Randy Orton + Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr
.: Shane McMahon said he talked to the Legacy members and they said Randy Orton wanted to wrestle him at No Way Out. Shane accepted the challenge and said it would be a No Holds Barred match. Shane said he wanted some payback, and he is going to get it. Shane said since Orton threatened to sue the WWE and cancel WrestleMania, he (Shane) is going to sacrifice his body and make sure Orton is unable to compete at WrestleMania. Randy Orton came out to the stage and was booed despite St. Louis being his hometown. Orton asked how Shane could beat up the three top Superstars in the WWE. Orton said Shane didn’t do that. Orton claimed that he told Ted & Cody not to fight back. Orton said all the WWE Superstars on the stage were just waiting for an opportunity to impress Shane and Stephanie. Orton said it was a small price to pay to get a match with Shane at No Way Out. Orton said if he was Shane, he would call the hospital and get a bed right next to his father. There was a long pause while Orton cautiously walked to ringside as Shane kept his eye on him. Suddenly Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. snuck in from behind. Shane caught them in the corner of his eye and grabbed a kendo stick that he had hidden in the ring apron - obviously prepared for an ambush. Shane whacked Cody and Ted until they retreated with their leader, Orton..

MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
William Regal & Layla El defeated C.M. Punk & Mickie James
: C.M. Punk was going to dive over the top rope onto William Regal, but Layla jumped down and acted as a sheild. Mickie James dud a running Thesz press off the ring apron to take out Layla. Punk stepped out and Regal dumped him back first onto the floor. Punk climbed back into the ring, but we smashed in the head with a knee from Regal and pinned 1-2-3!

TAG TEAM MATCH
Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.)
: The match ended in a disqualification after Rhodes & DiBiase wouldn’t stop double-teaming Shad Gaspard! The two Legacy members destroyed Shad with an double-team Implant DDT..

IN THE RING
Chris Jericho + John Cena
: Chris Jericho said he respects Mickie Rourke’s performance in “The Wrestler” and respects Rourke’s predictably, yet cowardly, backing out of his match at WrestleMania. Jericho said the movie represents the has-beens holding on for one last shot at the big time, naming Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, and Ric Flair. Jericho said that Flair should be at home with his family, but instead he is appearing for autograph signings at high school gymnasiums and tell-all interviews for low-rent websites - basically selling his face and his name to anybody for a paycheck. Jericho said all of those legends need to be put in their place, and asked the WWE to revoke their status as WWE Hall of Famers. John Cena came up on the big screen and screamed, “ENOUGH!” Cena said if it wasn’t for those legends, Jericho wouldn’t be able to stand in that ring right now. Cena said everybody knows Jericho is an idiot. Cena said it’s Jericho who needs to let go of the past, and stop talking about being the first Undisputed champion. Cena said Jericho says the legends should walk away from the business but Jericho has been FIRED… TWICE! Cena said he was going to shut Jericho up tonight!

Citação :
Pois é, o "pessoal" do Mickey Rourke impediu-o de aceitar o combate no Wrestlemania. O problema é que a segunda hipótese me parece bastante má.

TAG TEAM MATCH
Kane & Mike Knox defeated Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston:

Citação :
Quatro homens. Três estão na Chamber. Quem vence o combate?

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Legacy (Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) attacked Shane & Stephanie McMahon. Security showed up and fought with Rhodes & DiBiase. Orton was about to punt Stephanie, but Shane dove in front of her and took the kick straight in the ribs!

DIVAS MATCH
Beth Phoenix (w/Santino Marella & Rosa Mendez) defeated Candice Michelle
: After the match, Rosa Mendez grabbed Candice by the hair and whipped her out of the ring - trying to get approval from Beth Phoenix.

IN THE RING (PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL)
John Bradshaw Layfield + Shawn Michaels
: JBL said he wanted to publicly assess the value of his employee, and called Shawn Michaels out to the ring. JBL smeared Shawn Michaels for his performance as his employee for not helping him become World Heavyweight champion. Shawn talked about all of the things he has done for JBL, and said the blame should be put on JBL himself. JBL said “no” the blame goes on Shawn Michaels and threatened to release Michaels from his contract. Michaels looked distraught, and said he wanted to kick JBL’s teeth down his throat. JBL said if he (Shawn) did that he would be a failure, and told him to think of someone other than himself for once in his life. Shawn asked JBL what he wanted. JBL challenged Shawn to a match at No Way Out with everything on the line. JBL said if Shawn wins he will get all his money, but if he (JBL) wins then Shawn has to work for him for the rest of his life. JBL said he will own Shawn Michaels and he will be making money off of his name long after Michaels is dead and gone. JBL said when he beats Shawn at No Way Out, Shawn will get nothing and his family will get nothing. Shawn Michaels foolishly accepted the challenge… JBL said Shawn can’t put his hand on him until No Way Out or the deal is off. JBL tried to physically provoke Michaels and screamed in his face to torment him. Michaels backed up and wanted to super-kick JBL, but instead left the ring with tears in his eyes.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Stephanie McMahon put Kane in the elimination chamber and booked Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker next week on RAW..

SINGLES MATCH
World Heavyweight champion John Cena defeated Chris Jericho
: Late in the match, John Cena went for an FU, but Jerry Lawler yelled “he calls that the Attitude Adjuster!” Uhhhh, no he calls that the FU - don’t insult our intelligence, King! Jericho slipped out and managed to put Cena in the Walls of Jericho. Cena somehow reversed it into an STF (no longer called the STF-U) and forced Jericho to tap out!

ANNOUNCEMENT: WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be on RAW next week to address the comments of Chris Jericho..

......................................................................................................

DARK MATCH (STREET FIGHT): John Cena defeated Randy Orton..

........................................................................................................
