Edge + Matt Hardy: Jim Ross & Tazz talked about Jeff Hardy’s accident and revealed that the investigation stated that somebody tampered with the pyrotechnics and caused the incident. Edge said everyone was already pointing the finger at him, but said he had nothing to do with Jeff’s accident. Edge said he admire’s Jeff for agreeing to face him at the Royal Rumble, but added that he just made the biggest mistake of his life! Edge said he didn’t want Jeff to have any excuses, and added that being a true champion is about sacrifice. Edge said he doesn’t need to do those things to become WWE champion. Matt Hardy hit the ring and attacked Edge and chased him through the crowd and out of sight.

The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh defeated Chavo Guerrero: Chavo Guerrero said that he was not a gopher, but he was a go-getter. Chavo said he was a Guerrero, a Mexican Warrior. Chavo said when his Aunt Vickie has a problem, she comes to him because he handles it with love. Chavo said there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his Aunt Vickie. Chavo said the Great Khali was trying to embarrass the Guerrero family. The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh) came out to the ring and squashed Chavo Guerrero in a quick match..

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Edge & Vickie Guerrero: Edge said he needs someone to watch his back because Matt Hardy was out of control. Vickie said Edge was going to go one-on-one with Matt in a No-disqualification match. Edge asked if Vickie really thought he had something to do with Jeff’s accident last week. Vickie said that Edge better MAN UP.


DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
The Bella Twins vs. Michelle McCool & Natalya Neidhart: Divas champion Maryse Ouellet joined Jim Ross & Tazz on commentary for the match. The match ended by disqualification when Maria Kanellis hit the ring and attacked Michelle! They spilled out onto the floor, and Natalya pulled Maria off of Michelle, who then rammed Maria into the safety barrier and kicked her in the head!

As entradas demoraram para aí o triplo do tempo do combate em si. Brie e Natalya nem chegaram a entrar. A Maria continua bastante má, devia mesmo limitar-se a ser uma linda entrevistadora de bastidores.

SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW
Jim Ross & Jeff Hardy: Jeff Hardy said last week was not an accident, it was intentional, and he knows exactly who was responsible. Hardy added that when he was run off the road in his car that was an assault, and back before Survivor Series when he was attacked, that was an assault too. Hardy said he knows Edge is behind all of it, but failed to take him out.

É tão óbvio que o Edge não tem nada a ver com os ataques a Jeff que só mesmo um fã estúpido pode ainda acreditar nisso.

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH
Edge defeated Matt Hardy: Late in the match, Matt Hardy hit the Twist of Fate and was about to win but Jack Swagger attacked him! Swagger pounded on Hardy, and then Mark Henry showed up and flattened Hardy with the World’s Strongest Slam. Swagger & Henry picked up Hardy, so that Edge could spear him and pick up the victory!

Bom combate, ainda que um pouco curto demais. Não percebi muito bem o que Henry foi lá fazer.

RAW’s World Tag Team champions John Morrison & Mike Mizanin defeated SmackDown!’s WWE Tag Team champions Carlito & Primo Colon

O combate da semana, sem dúvida. É fantástico ver o que estes quatro conseguem fazer quando lhes dão o tempo e a liberdade necessárias.

MAIN EVENT HANDICAP MATCH
The Big Show & Vladimir Kozlov defeated Triple H: Triple H vs Vladimir Kozlov was interrupted. A few minutes into the match, General Manager Vickie Guerrero came out and said Triple H’s “OTHER” opponent was the Big Show! Vickie Guerrero applauded from the stage after Vladimir Kozlov finished off Triple H in the ring!

Particularmente aborrecido a partir do momento em que Big Show entrou. Não sei como é que esta rivalidade antecipa o Royal Rumble, mas pronto. Foi bom para manter o Triple H entretido até lá.
